WORN spacer of a CREAKING Shimano 12 speed Micro Spline free hub (SLX, XT, XTR)

Описание к видео WORN spacer of a CREAKING Shimano 12 speed Micro Spline free hub (SLX, XT, XTR)

A year ago the rear hub (FH-M8110-B) of my Merida One-Twenty started creaking. I posted a video with the creaking and some general guides on solving it -    • How to solve Shimano XT 12-speed Micr...  . Half a year ago the creaking came back. I posted a new video on hub overhaul and greasing -    • How to grease a CREAKING Shimano 12 s...  . A couple of weeks ago the hub started creaking again, and this time it needed more than just greasing. This video has followed. The hub has clocked around 3500 kms (~2200 miles) at this point.

My other videos on these freehubs (M7110, M8110, M9110):

Shimano part numbers for the spacers:
Y3G111000. "White" plastic version for SLX and XT. https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/hub-spare...
Y3FM14000. "Black" plastic version for XTR. https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/hub-spare...
The versions are interchangeable. I believe the black XTR one is just made of stronger plastic.
