A great cruncher using natural and synthetic materials. Looks great catches fish just remember to varnish the stripped quill before completing the fly to make it last longer on those trout's teeth...

Hook: - Kamasan B175/Fulling Mill 1530 Sizes 12-10 or Barbless Equivalent
Thread: - Use a Colour that goes with the Stripped Quill, I've use UTC 70 Fl. Chartruese on this particular fly.
Tail: - Dyed Grizzle Cock Hackle Fibres or Hen Honey Olive
Body: - Lime Green Peacock Eye Stripped (Touching Turns)
Thorax: - 4mm Mini-FUp Fritz Green Glow Yellow (use Appropriate Colour to the fly's body colour)
Hackle: - Dyed Honey Olive Grizzle 2/3 Turns

The Fritz Thorax gives the fish an aiming point, I believe that these trigger points are what get the fish intrested in the first place. Like using Fl Fire Orange Thread in my river patterns the thread always comes though the rest of the dressing to give the fish interest in my opinon :)
