Drum Corps Opener - "Gli Esseri" - Bluecoats Fellowship 2024 Showcase

During the 2024 Drum Corps International Season, a select group of up and coming designers spent Spring Training with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. They were part of a program known as The Bluecoats Fellowship, which is an avenue for designers of underrepresented communities to work 1on1 with members of the Bluecoats Design Team. Each fellow was paired with a designer that writes in their respective field, and these designers would become mentors for the fellows, giving them feedback on their portfolio and advice for their careers. During Spring Training, the fellows decided to take what they learned and put it to work by creating a drum corps show together. This is a movement of that show: "Gli Esseri"

Movement 1 is based on "London" and "Finale" from Poor Things by Jerskin Fendrix, and the credits song is "Real" by Kendrick Lamar (feat. Anna Wise).
