Hadrian's Wall Path, England, 2021

Описание к видео Hadrian's Wall Path, England, 2021

A self-guided walk from Wallsend, Newcastle on the east coast following the course of Hadrian’s Wall to finish on the west coast at Bowness-on-Solway. It crosses the counties of Cumbria, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. Along the wall are remains of milecastles, with two turrets or watch towers between each and occasional forts. The ends follow the rivers Tyne and Eden with many old and new bridges. Between it follows ridges and crags with views of the countryside. 17 - 24/09/21

When animals in a cage pace back and forth from one side to the other, it may be a sign they are unhappy with their captivity.
My last trek was the Coast to Coast Walk from the west coast to east of England. Now I’ve just done the Hadrian’s Wall Path from the east coast back to the west. Is that the same thing?
I want to trek in the Himalayas again!
But for now, I can at least trek somewhere…

Technical note:
Sorry about the piece of dust on the camera sensor that is visible in many of the shots. I noticed it early on the first day of walking, but I had no way to clean it off during the walk. To try to minimise this being visible, most of the video is shot below f9 using higher shutter speeds than normal for video to adjust the exposure (on minimum ISO). Rest assured that I did clean the sensor on getting home and the blob is now gone for future recordings.
