Two adult Australian Spangled drongos have a territorial dispute.

The Spangled Drongo (Dicrurus bracteatus) is the only drongo to be found in Australia (Family Dicruridae) and the only Australian bird with a flared and deeply forked, fish-like tail. The adult has an entirely black plumage glossed with purplish blue and the immature is browner with less gloss and sometimes with off-white patches on their belly. Adults have red eyes (iris red) and juveniles have brown eyes.
They feed on insects and small vertebrates. They are specialised in catching insects in the air and are usually seen perched on open branches, fences or telegraph wires where they await passing insects. Fruit and nectar also form part of their diet.
Spangled Drongos have complex and varied chattering calls, noisy whistles, grating sounds and they often mimic the sounds in their vicinity.
