Custom Lowers on My Harley-Davidson Softail

Come along as I install a set of Memphis Shades Custom Lowers on my 2021 Harley-Davidson softail - Sport Glide. #motorcycle #harleydavidson #sportglide #softtail

I chose to add the Memphis Shades lowers to the bike in hopes that it will help reduce the wind that is coming up from below and thereby give me the perfect touring set-up. I'm currently running a prototype Gustafsson 15-inch Grand Touring Windshield along with the Gustafsson lower wind deflectors. Now I just need to reduce the last little bit of remaining wind on my stomach. Will this be the answer? Let's find out...

This spring I began doing some prototype design and testing on my own. I later reached out to Zach at Gustafsson Plastics to see if he had an interest in collaborating with me to see if, together we could improve upon their 15-inch Grand Touring windshield performance. He agreed to provide me with the custom prototypes (at no cost to me) if I would do the extensive road testing of the designs. And the rest as they say is history...

Follow along as we continue to tweak and improve this windshield so that Gustafsson Plastics can eventually roll it out to all Harley Davidson Sport Glide Owners.
