This DVD shows the Kitty Hawk from 1961 to 1979. It begins with the commissioning of Kitty Hawk in March 1961 and Kitty Hawk operations while off the coast of Vietnam in 1967. Part II (narrated) documents the relationship of the carrier Kitty Hawk and the frigate William H. Standley as part of Task Force 77 in the Gulf Of Tonkin in 1969. Excellent scenes aboard both ships, catapault launches, highline transfer, below and above-deck operations. Also includes interviews with the commanding officers of both ships. Part III documents activities aboard Kitty Hawk in the 1970s. Aircraft include A-7 and F-4.
