In this video, I will show you how to create a floating Polaroid effect in DaVinci Resolve. This effect is perfect for adding a vintage or retro feel to your videos.

We will use the Fusion page in DaVinci Resolve to create the effect. First, we will import the Polaroid image and the video clip that we want to use. Then, we will use the Camera Tracker node to track the movement of the camera in the video clip. This will allow us to position the Polaroid image in the correct location in 3D space.

Once the Polaroid image is tracked, we can use the Image Plane node to display it in the scene. We can also use the Transform node to adjust the size, rotation, and position of the image.

Finally, we can add some blur and grain to the image to give it a more realistic look.

Here are the steps in detail:

Import the Polaroid image and the video clip into DaVinci Resolve.
Create a new Fusion composition.
Add the Camera Tracker node to the composition.
Track the movement of the camera in the video clip.
Add the Image Plane node to the composition.
Connect the Camera Tracker node to the Image Plane node.
Adjust the size, rotation, and position of the Image Plane node.
Add blur and grain to the Image Plane node.
Export the composition as a video clip.
