simple DIYs 🎨 giant pinboard, fixing broken vases, gold hooks | Living Alone in New Zealand

Hello everyone, I’m Solorella :)
Today I’m doing some DIYs around the house. From fixing broken vases with DIY Kintsugi (gold joinery) to making a giant canvas pinboard, here’s a crafty day in my life living alone in New Zealand 🤍

Giant Pinboard Materials
Piece of softboard (cut to size, you can also use a hemasote board or rigid foam insulation)
Fabric to fit board (I used a canvas drop sheet from the hardware store)
Staple gun + staples
Push pins

DIY Kintsugi Materials
Mica powder
Epoxy resin

I just mixed in the mica powder until epoxy no longer looked clear :)

Removable Gold Metal Hooks - Bunnings
(They also come in stainless steel, matte black and in different sizes)
