Greubel Forsey does not discuss price. Collectors who know the brand reflexively understand the real estate-level investment required to obtain any Greubel Forsey watch. The Greubel Forsey GMT Earth embodies all of the company’s insights – including 3 patents – applied to the travel watch genre. Its 45.5mm white gold case encompasses no fewer than four different displays of time. Two time zones on the dial size are complemented by an extraordinary 3-D globe that spans the northern to southern hemisphere; sapphire case enhancements render the entirety of the globe visible. Greubel Forsey equips the watch with a dramatically box-sectioned and domed sapphire over the primary dial for maximum visibility of all internal facets. A convenient GMT pusher-adjuster enables rapid setting of the primary reference time zone. On the reverse of the case, a world time function displays the time – and the summer time shift where applicable – in radial fashion. Back on the obverse, the Greubel Forsey GMT Earth features a 3-day power reserve indicator and a 30-degree inclined tourbillon that makes a full 360-degree circuit in 24 seconds. The white gold version of this manually-wound complicated GMT watch will be offered in 33 pieces.

The Greubel Forsey Différentiel d'Égalité is the firm’s take on a constant force mechanism. The spherical differential at the heart of the manual-wind 3-day movement overcomes the uneven pulses of the remontoir and the imprecision and inefficiency of the fusee. Greubel Forsey’s signature 30-degree inclined balance and a Breguet overcoil hairspring enable superior resistance to positional (gravitational) timing deviation. The new Différentiel d'Égalité also boasts a unique mechanism that stops the balance and zeros the seconds hand for precise setting of the watch; a deadbeat-seconds hand ensures that the watch can be read clearly once set. According to Greubel Forsey’s watchmakers, the Différentiel d'Égalité is able to maintain constant amplitude for 60 hours thanks to its namesake; a stopworks halts the movement after this period elapses. The Différentiel d'Égalité is a 44mm white gold model will be a limited edition of 33 watches.

In 2015, Greubel Forsey introduced the Double Balancier. Its twin escapements index twin balance wheels that are angled in different planes. The disparity in orientation combines with a differential gear to maximize even timekeeping; the net timing deviation of the two balances should approach a net measurement of zero. For 2018, the Greubel Forsey Double Balancier is offered in 5N red gold with a black anthracite dial crafted from gold. The watch features a 3-day power reserve, a power reserve indicator, and a unique indicator that displays the variation between the differential-coupled balances. Each Greubel Forsey Double Balancier is a 43mm timepiece with bridges and plates in maillechort; sometimes known as “German silver,” this alloy of nickel, zinc, and copper is highly resistant to corrosion and uniquely finished to Greubel Forsey’s distinctive anglaged and frosted surfaces.
