විශේෂ අවසරයකින් ලංකාවේ පලමු වතාවට මස්කෙළිය මාවුස්සාකැලේ ජලාශයේ ගිය kayak ride එක.
මාවුස්සාකැලේ ජලාශය අනිත් ජලාශවලින් විශේෂ වන්නේ කෙලින්ම ජලාශයකට වැටෙන එකම දියඇල්ල වන ගාඩ්මෝර් ඇල්ල නිසාය.
තවද kayak එකකින් ගිහින් දිය ඇලි බලන්න පුළුවන් එකම ජලාශය ද මෙය වේ.
අපගේ ගමන දින දෙකක් වූ අතර පළමු දින උදෑසන මවුස්සාකැලේ වේල්ල අසලින් ගමන ආරම්භ කර ජලාශය දිගේ ගිහින් ජලාශය ඇති දූපත් නරඹමින් හවස් වන විට ගාඩ්මෝර් ඇල්ල අසලට පැමිණියෙමු.
එදින රාත්‍රියේ ඇල්ල අසල camp කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර තිබුණද හවස පතිත වූ වර්ෂාව හේතුවෙන් එම අදහස වෙනස් කර ඒ අසල නිවසක රාත්‍රිය ගත කර පසුදින ගාර්ඩ්මෝර් ඇල්ල සහ මරේ ඇල්ල නරඹා ජලාශය අනිත් පසින් පැමිණ මුල්ගම සීතගඟුල ඇල්ල ද නරඹා නැවතත් dam එක අසලින් ගමන අවසන් කළෙමු.

මෙම මුළු ගමන සඳහා මාගේ චූටි දූ Ruwanya සහභාගි කරගත් අතර ඇයට මෙම ගමනේ ලැබුණු අත්දැකීම් බොහෝය. ඉතාම සීතල ප්‍රදේශයක පිහිටි මෙම ජලාශයේ සීතල ජලයේ දින දෙකක් ඇය අපත් සමඟ ගත කළ අතර අව්ව වැස්ස සුළං බාධක මැද ඇය මෙම ගමන කිසිදු පැකිලීමකින් තොරව අවසන් කළේය.

Kayak ride in Maskeliya Maussakale Reservoir for the first time in Sri Lanka with special permission.
Maussakale Reservoir is unique from other reservoirs because it is the only waterfall that falls directly into a reservoir, Gadmore Falls.
Also, this is the only reservoir where you can go by kayak and see the waterfalls.
Our trip was for two days and on the first morning we started from Maussakale Dam and went along the reservoir and visited the islands of the reservoir and reached Gadmore Falls in the evening.
We had planned to camp near the falls that night, but due to the rain that fell in the evening, we changed that idea and spent the night in a house nearby. The next day, we visited Gardmore Falls and Murray Falls, came to the other side of the reservoir, saw Mulgama Seethagangula Falls and ended the trip again near the dam.

My little daughter Ruwanya participated in this whole journey and she got many experiences in this journey. She spent two days with us in the cold water of this reservoir in a very cold area and she completed this journey without any hesitation in the sun, rain and wind barriers.
