In 2015, Syrian refugee Abdullah Kurdi and his family fled to Turkey by boat. But Kurdi's wife and son drowned on the way because the boat was overloaded. The image of his 3-year-old son Alan washing up on a beach plunged the whole world into grief. He choked up several times as he recounted his experience. After that, he set up a foundation to help other children affected by the war. Although his family members did not die directly on the battlefield, but the haze of war hangs over ordinary and innocent families like this. #SharedFuture10Years #readapoem
