Dirt and debris
The presence of dirt or debris in the tracks can cause friction when rolling the window up and down, resulting in squeaking noises.
This is how to properly clean the tracks:
• Roll your window down completely.
• Use a paper towel or a rag to wipe off all the dirt and debris starting from the top left corner and clean downwards.
• Ensure you get all the excess old lubricant from the tracks. You should also make sure you use cleaning products that do not have harsh chemicals since this may damage the glass of your window.

Lack of lubrication
The moving parts of the window may rub against each other when the car lacks lubrication causing the squeaking noises.
This is how to effectively lubricate the window regulator:
• Begin by inspecting all the moving parts after removing the window regulator, which is typically held to the door frame by mounting bolts.
• You will need to remove the bolts first and then begin to lubricate all the metal parts that come into contact with each other.
• Inspect the tracks to see if there are any metal parts or springs that have been grinding against each other and lubricate them.
• You should also lubricate where the motor drives the regulator.

Improper alignment of the window
A poorly aligned window can create unequal pressure within the frame, causing it to squeak. Extreme weather conditions like humidity can affect the glass and seals, leading to improper alignment and increased pressure when sliding up or down.
