A rare semi-recent interview recording with Hope & David. The only other ones I know of are all 20+ years old & are shorter than this one. David's in Norway, Hope's in Ireland, & the interviewer, Sylvain, is in Paris. They speak via skype.

The interview starts slowly & improves as Hope & David open up more as the interview progresses. And any interviewer who succeeds, as Sylvain does, in getting Hope to laugh as many times as she does here, is doing something right!

The skype connections here are, at times, less than good, & some words are hard to discern. I created a text transcript of the interview that kept improving with multiple listenings & corrections. The original audio file there is slightly longer (less than 2 minutes longer) than this edited yt version. What's edited out here though is nothing important. There was an initial short call between Sylvain & David that established Hope wasn't on the line. The call was cut short so David could call back with Hope on the line. That initial call is left out here. Another very short section of poor skype connections is edited out. Nothing of much substance has been left out here, but some may be interested in hearing the whole conversation as found in the downloadable MP3 audio file, & seeing the text transcript.

Before & after the interview, I've added a 50 second snippet of new Mazzy Star music Mazzy Star posted as a 50 second video clip to their facebook page at   / mazzystarofficial   Dec. 22, 2014 as a Christmas gift to fans. The song snippet was posted there without a song title. I have re-upped that FB video to my alternate yt Channel, here:
