Chilton QM3 - British built Class A mixing console - the baby Neve!

For those wondering what desk sits behind me in my Australian studio, I offer a tour of my Chilton QM3 12 channel mixing console, explaining a little about its channel sections and master section routing and configurations.

Some call this a baby Neve console, and while it has similar very warm EQ, it's also partly nothing like a Neve - all is explained in the video. These consoles were built as 24 and 12 channel versions, and have been used by the BBC in their OB (outside broadcast) vans as they're lightweight, small and offer a high-quality class A, low noise design.
