Lúnasa is a traditional Irish music group, named after Lughnasadh, an ancient harvest festival that has performed internationally and has recorded a number of albums of both traditional and contemporary instrumental Irish music. They performed at The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts in Eugene, Oregon on March 20, 2024.

Founded in 1997, Lúnasa’s most recent albums include their 2018 album “CAS” and 2024 “Live in Kyoto” project. Current band members are Kevin Crawford (flutes, whistles), Cillian Vallely (Uilleann pipes, whistles), Seán Smyth (fiddle, low D whistle), Trevor Hutchinson (double bass) and Ed Boyd (guitar).
