The Jabra Elite 4 Active might be my new favorite bass & workout earbuds.

ADDITIONAL REVIEW NOTES:

DESIGN:
4 eartip sizes
Fit very similarly to the Elite Active 75t
3 colors - black, navy, mint
No wireless charging on the case
Great case design, similar to previous Jabra units
No proximity sensors for in-ear detection
I was worried they removed the button, but they did not!
7/28hr battery
IP57 water resistance (same as the more expensive 7 active)

MIC TEST

SOUND QUALITY:
Powerful bass
ANC (though it is not adjustable like the 7 actives)
Hearthrough
Supports SBC & aptX!! (even the Elite 7 Pros only have SBC & AAC, but the 3’s also have aptX)
Lag =
Sound:
Strong and powerful bass
Not the fastest sound, and therefore not the tightest bass, but it is fun for workouts
Highs and mids get eclipsed by the lows
Very lively, with lifted highs and lows, but still a tad on the dark side which is great for those seeking lots of bass and energy when working out
Some congestion, with weak instrument separation
Overall, big lively sound but lacking detail and separation. Pretty great for workouts

FEATURES:
Bluetooth 5.2
Mono mode
Android only:
Summon Spotify with controls
Google FastPair
Amazon Alex
Multipoint connection? - I wasn’t seeing it
BE SURE TO GET THE UPDATE!
Jabra has always been good about updating and actually adding nice new features
They are among my favorite earbud brands for this reason

THE NEGATIVE:
Why did they not add proximity sensors?? I need these for the gym.
No multipoint again - but I think they might add it?

The 85t felt like a bit of a miss to me but this year, Jabra is back on track and better than ever. The 3’s are great on a budget ($80). Like seriously great. I prefer them over many earbuds, even the ones that cost $50-$100 more. Then the 7 Pros have been my ultimate go-to lately for their versatility. They are incredibly light and compact, have decent sound, connect to two devices at once, have decent ANC, and physical buttons. These fit in the lineup as the ideal pair for working out. I am struggling to figure out where the Active 7’s fit in, but these three are fantastic.
