This video was taken during the 3rd KDM Cruise, on July 23rd, 2016. This is a yearly event where a bunch of Korean cars, mostly Hyundai and Kia, gather together a a pre-selected location, hang out for a little bit, we all head out, cruise through the mountain roads of Mulholland Blvd and the streets of Malibu, then head back where we started.

This year we started at the go-kart track parking lot MB2 raceway in Thousand Oaks, California. We all met up at 11am. A little bit before noon Dave Hall, one of the event coordinators, gave a safety briefing. At noon we all started our engines and rolled out, there was around 30-50 cars. From MB2 we went into the mountains for a short but nice twisty bit before heading out in the the highway to do some nice high speed pulls. Eventually, after those pulls, we got onto highway 1/ PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). We drove through Malibu for a little bit, while enjoying the views of the beach and other cars from the cruise. Also while in Malibu, we drove by the restaurant Neptune's, made popular by the 1st Fast and Furious movie. After driving a bit through Malibu we turned into the mountains and made our way towards Mulholland Dr. Finally we are on Mulholland , my favorite part of the cruise, and we start our decent of the mountain. We are going through the turns at a nice brisk rate of speed, I could have gone quicker but I was stuck behind some less experienced drivers. However, that pleasant joy ride unfortunately ended far to soon and we started to make our way back to the MB2, where we started. After the cruise people gather around to chit chat and let their cars cool off for a bit. Especially since it was 110 degrees in the mountain portion.
