Miles Davis - Tutu [BASS COVER] - with notation and tabs

Pure Marcus Miller vibes this Friday. He was an integral part of this era of Miles, and wrote/produced all but one of the tunes off the Tutu record, which went on to become absolutely iconic.

There are several overdubbed bass parts on this track. Marcus Miller used a fretless for some lyrical lines, and his unmistakable fretted Jbass tone for the rhythmic slap parts. So, this cover is more of an arrangement of both parts than a straight lift - I picked what I felt were the most meaningful parts of all the overdubs and put them together. It might sound a bit spastic - but I wanted to get as much as I could in there!
