How to Roll Race Your C7 Z06 Corvette

What’s up everyone and welcome back to the channel! I have got a great video for you guys today as we dive into the best ways to roll-race your C7Z06 in a 40 roll, 50 roll and 60 roll.

To start things off I want you to understand that racing on the street is illegal and dangerous. You need to follow the rules of the road. You need to practice alone and learn your car before you get out on the street and line up next to someone. You need to be comfortable behind the wheel of the car. If you aren't comfortable taking off all the nannies, then don’t. This is my personal experience and every car is different. My car is an automatic and a stock tune and this is where I believe that car likes to start.

The power band of this car has max torque at 3600 RPM and max horsepower at 6400 RPM.

For the best results your Traction Control and Stabilitrak need to be turned off. Take your car to a wide open parking lot and learn how the car yaws and corrects itself.

You also need to understand that not every car can perform amazing at every race. You need to figure out what race your car likes best. Before you get on the road or track with the intention to race you need to have fresh rubber and warm tires.

For a 40 roll you want to be in second gear and the RPM range needs to be around 3600-4000 RPM

For a 50 roll you want to be in second gear and the RPM range needs to be around 4500-4700

For a 60 roll you need to slow down below 60 mph and downshift into second gear and speed up to 60. This should put you around 5300-5500 rpms. If you start in 3rd you’ll be slow and below the power band.
