Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown have everything you could ask for in a fall destination - a walkable downtown, loads of historic sites, lots of fun events and things to do, great places to eat and themed food and drink events and so much more!

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, written by Washington Irving, has woven it's way through the area and connects actual places referred to in the story as well as historic sites having to do with Washington Irving himself. Visit the bridge the Headless Horseman was seen on, the cemetery the story was based on and special streets featuring historic sites from the 1600's.

There are many haunted sites you can visit - the Music Hall is the oldest continuously working theatre in New York and has a haunted history. Neil and I think we may have photographed orbes inside the theatre!!!! The Cemetery and the Old Dutch Church are said to be haunted and they give tours. The Armour-Stirer Octagon House is haunted and they do several events!
