Today we are here at Lingyin Temple, one of the top ten ancient temples in Hangzhou, China, also known as Yunlin Temple. It is located northwest of West Lake in Hangzhou, at the foot of Lingyin Mountain between Feilai Peak and North Peak. It is the earliest Buddhist temple in China. The temple is also the place of practice for the eminent monk Jigong of the Southern Song Dynasty! This temple has a history of 1,700 years and has experienced numerous fires and reconstructions. This video we will run through the history and significant places with a local guide!
