Hey everyone I’m Abbey Sharp welcome to Abbey’s Kitchen! As a registered dietitian and 2000s teen who lived through peak toxic diet culture, I’ve got some thoughts on why #Sk*nnytok is setting off alarm bells for millennials. But I’m also a science girly, so I’m putting bias aside to examine the viral #Sk*nnytok weight loss tricks and what the research actually says. From calorie-counting mantras to metabolism “boosters,” we’re diving deep. While some users claim these tips healed their relationship with food, I’m not convinced that’s the whole story.
