The Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue is more than a mere instrument; it's a piece of history. From its construction and parts to its contours, every aspect of this guitar is designed to match the original year of production, providing a timeless and endlessly enjoyable playing experience.

This '57 Goldtop Reissue features a 2-Piece plain maple top with hide glue fitting, a lightweight mahogany body, two Custombucker Alnico III unpotted pickups, mahogany neck with a comfortable 50s Rounded Medium C profile, aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid fingerboard inlay, and a Double Gold Nitrocellulose VOS finish for a vintage aesthetic. Running through the Blackstar HT Venue Club 50H MKIII Guitar Amplifier Head, providing those smooth and slightly growling tones. All being recording through the brilliant and very honest Beyerdynamic M88, Royer R-121, Neumann U47 FET microphones, and 1972 Neve 8024 24x4x2 Recording Console at our upstairs neighbors spot, Lake House Recording Studios.
