In this video we will show you the hidden fort situated at the top of a mountain in a thick forest which has 1000 years old history. This fort was constructed on a very dangerous location. The main gate of this fort is installed where ? And how is the way ? You will be surprised to see. Most part of this fort has been demolished but the main gate of this fort, few rooms, security check post and pond remain now. According to conservative estimate the area of this fort will 13 to 14 acres. More forest has grown here after being deserted of this fort. Now wild animals live here in large numbers in which snakes, porcupine, black francolin, fitchew and other insects. Who is the owner of this fort ? Who constructed this fort ? And how much cost used to construct it the history is kept quiet in this matter. While the archaeology department of Punjab also keep quiet in this issue. This is a hidden fort which is not famous. This fort is situated on a top of a mountain in thick forest in Tehsil Choa Saidan Shah of District Chakwal. The surprising thing is that the people of surrounding villages of this fort and people of Chakwal do not know about this fort that a fort is situated at this place. The name of this fort is Daloor Fort and this is hidden fort and our team explored this historical place. The local people know and recognize about Kusak fort only which is situated at few kilometers away from here. But the condition of these forts is just like same deserted and ruins. After seeing the structure and construction of Daloor Fort it can be said that this fort was also constructed in the Hindu Shahi Rule because the structure and construction of Nandana Fort, Malot Fort, Kusak Fort and Daloor Fort is same. The pond of this fort remains now but most of bushes have grown inside it and it is impossible to go inside it. The depth of this pond will be approximately 20 feet. This fort is one of the ancient forts of District Chakwal. This fort was also the target of external attackers as like other forts. Recently someone has tried to restore the rooms of this fort for living purpose but due to the lack of facilities this fort became deserted soon. Very few people come here because this fort is hidden from the eyes of the people. The archaeology department of Punjab should research and security of this fort so that this asset remain safe because the some thieves type people come here and dug up the land to search hidden treasures and are destroying this ancient building. An unpaved track goes to this fort and a hiking is approximately one and a half hours. Any type of bike and car can go till this base camp easily.
