Seachem Safe vs Prime? What’s the Difference

The difference between Seachem Safe vs Prime is in the chemical makeup. One product is designed to treat 5x the amount of water versus the other. Seachem Safe comes in a powder form versus Prime which comes in a liquid form.

Most Fishkeepers find themselves using Seachem safe because it is more cost effective. You may think that one of these products does some thing that the other doesn’t but that’s not the case. These products both detoxify ammonia in your fish aquarium for a short amount of time.
