This is a series where I invite you to take a ride on different transit vehicles on various local and express bus routes and train journeys across the world. From local transit buses to commuter trains, from the United States to Europe, older ride-alongs to current and new rides, they will be displayed in this series.

Take a ride on one the bay Area's suburban double decker buses, owned by the Western Contra Costa County Transit Authority a.k.a. WestCAT, serving the cities of Hercules and Pinole, California. The video starts at the Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco and shows the route it takes heading up to the Hercules Transit Center on the LYNX commuter route.

WestCAT is one of four major public transit agencies that serve Contra Costa County; the other three are Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District or "AC Transit," Central Contra Costa Transit Authority or "County Connection," and Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority or "Tri-Delta Transit."
