This is the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Review. First off, I go into an explanation of the rear of the phone and all the components at the back (real or fake). This is a long review where I cover everything from the outside of the phone and the inside of the phone to these 6 key elements:

1. The fingerprint reader

6. Overall performance

The Mi 8 Pro was Xiaomi's flagship phone they used to launch a store in the UK and clearly is an alternative to the OnePlus 6T line but is it good enough to match it? You will see some of my issues with the fingerprint reader and my utter surprise by the quality of the camera. Apart from that there is also other features like the battery, overall design, and the software. Overall, for a price of US$478 I clearly think it is priced well and worth the geeky price point. I say that because the back of the phone is clearly supposed to appeal to geeks. However, Xiaomi's alternative brand also released the Pocophone F1 within month's of this release at even more of an astronomical price point and I can only imagine people are definitely thinking of that phone as being more geeky than this one. I haven't tested the Pocophone yet but I can clearly see the appeal. One strong factor not mentioned is that they fail to mention whether it is waterproof or water resistant. This clearly should be addressed and I feel without this it might not have the power to knock-off other competitors.
