Jesus explains the Meaning of Trials... There is a profound Purpose to all the Hardships of your Life
November 17, 1937 - Message 0184 from Jesus through Bertha Dudde
Behold, My child, in all hardships of your life lie a deep destiny, and in order to fulfill it, you must bear with patience everything the Lord imposes upon you. You feel the desire to be close to your heavenly Father as a child, and this also includes willingly submitting to His orders. God sends these trials upon His children in order to draw them ever closer to Himself, for these are all touchstones upon the earthly path, the overcoming of which can only bring you forward in your striving. For nothing is ordered by the heavenly Father in His wisdom without purpose, even if you cannot grasp it. Therefore, you must submit yourselves to His instructions, with blind trust in God, and it will only serve you as a blessing.
And now, My child, listen to Our teachings... If the Lord sends words of salvation to His Own, yet they are not accepted, the people lack understanding, the inner connection to their Creator, that is when He will allow trials to come upon them in order to convince them of His will, for how often does man believe he could withdraw from a higher power before he must realize that his fate lies in hands other than his own. And time and again the Lord, in His love, turns His mercy towards the children of earth.
To make proper use of the short time on earth, in the divine sense, in constant striving for perfection, this is the highest good that man may call his own, as it depends only on his will. God repeatedly directs his thoughts to the spiritual realm, he is so often warned and pointed to eternity that, if he were only a little willing to serve his Lord and Creator, he would find the right path by virtue of the love of all spiritual beings who, for his protection, accompany him on his path through life.
Surrender more to the inner voice and do not fight against thoughts that are directed towards the hereafter, towards life after death. Such thoughts will come to everyone and these thoughts must become dear and familiar to you instead of frightening, such that you would reject them unwillingly. Whosoever, concerned for the salvation of his soul, does everything that assists him in his spiritual advancement, does not look towards the death of this life in horror, he only sees in it the entrance into another life, fulfilling his heart's longing to be united with his Lord and Savior. Therefore pay no attention to the tribulation on this earth, it is only a means to guide you onto the right path, one that shall lead you to eternal peace... Amen
