It's October, so to go with this month's haunted theme we're pulling a song back from the grave, and this time it's our 2017 arrangement of Stone Tower Temple that was erased from streaming services during the Materia Collective purge of 2021. Unlike Auron's Theme, this remix isn't just a remix, a few of the tracks were completely re-recorded because I realized we really had no clue what we were doing 5 years ago and I knew the quality could be improved. This cover was heavily inspired by Chuck Schuldiner and more specifically the album "The Sound of Perseverance," so hopefully you can hear that influence shine through on all of the harmonies and light-speed drumming. For this version we also extended the solo section and brought in resident extreme metal and VGM enthusiast, Viking Guitar. We've known of each other for a few years now and actually finally got to meet in person at a convention last weekend so it was great to finally work on something together.
