Описание к видео Daniel Mendelow: An incredible friend, musician, trumpet player and teacher

Dan Mendelow was principal trumpet with the Sydney Symphony for 34 years. He was also one of my principal teachers and had an enormous influence on my development as a musician. In this interview, you can find out about Dan musical journey, including highlights such as performing at Tanglewood under Bernstein, being a member of the Israel Philharmonic under Mehta, playing Mahler 5 in Sydney under Mazel and much more.
We also discuss what it was like for me learning from Dan in the 80s.
I loved making this video with Dan. I'm sure you will enjoy it, too!
