温暖な瀬戸内の気候、風光明媚な海と空と山の景色が広がる小豆島。高松から1時間、神戸からもわずか3時間。潮風に乗って船でたどりつく楽園では、オリーブの街路樹が出迎えてくれます。自転車で外周を走っても100キロほどの島ですが、ツール・ド・ニッポンの旅では、ひと味ちがった小豆島の楽しみ方を提案します。

The Papersky Tour de Nippon travels to Shodoshima; the second largest island in Japan’s Seto Inland Sea area. The island will amaze you with it’s Mediterranean atmosphere and it’s beautiful beaches and large olive plantations. However, it also has a traditional Japanese side with well over 20 Soy Sauce companies and a mountainous interior featuring the Kankakei Gorge, some say home to Japan’s modern hiking culture. Recently the island is attracting attention for it’s food culture; many movies are being filmed on the island because of it’s stunning scenery and art fans have been flocking to the island to visit the permanent artwork from the Setouchi Triennale.
