During a flood in the Iril River, the dead body of Ramjan Ali from Kshetrigao Awang Leikai, Imphal East, who had gone missing, was recovered today.

The body of Ramjan, who had gone missing since the 15th of this month after being swept away in the Iril River at Naharup Konjil, was finally discovered downstream. His body was reportedly found entangled among debris in the river.

It may be recalled that on the 15th, Ramjan Ali was swept away in the Iril River during the flooding in Kshetrigao.

Since that day, Kshetrigao MLA Seikh Noorul, along with SDRF, KIYC Club, local residents, and various volunteers, had been continuously conducting search operations until the body was recovered.
