You’ll need the following equipment:
A TRIAC dimmable transformer
A compatible LED dimmer
White or single-colour LED tape
Screwdriver

Now you’re ready to set up your TRIAC transformer:

Step 01 – wire the mains supply to the transformer’s inputs. Neutral / Earth leads should be connected directly; Live lead passes through the LED dimmer unit.

Step 02 – wire the LED tape to the transformer’s output. Positive (red) cable goes to ‘LED+’, negative (black) cable goes to ‘LED-’. You can wire multiple LED strips into your TRIAC transformer, as long as the total wattage doesn’t exceed the transformer’s capacity.
