I Am Resolved - The Fehr Family Band (LIVE)

This song is a hymn from the late 1800s that James was familiar with when he was young. We love the arrangement sung by The Shotgun Rubies on the wonderful “Orthophonic Joy” album, and so we came up with our own version using that arrangement as a starting point. The words try to capture the joy we can have as we run to Jesus, our greatest and highest Treasure, and the only One who can fill the longing of our souls.

I am resolved no longer to linger,
charmed by the world's delight;
things that are higher, things that are nobler,
these have allured my sight.
I will hasten to Him,
hasten so glad and free;
Jesus, greatest, highest,
I will come to Thee.
