Nakoda Nation-Thunderchild 2020

The Thunderchild social distance powwow was one of the few powwows this year to be held due to the ongoing restrictions related to COVID-19. Although celebrations have mostly been cancelled, powwow people have continued to share culture through online pages and limited social distance powwows. Thunderchild attracted dancers and singers from across the prairies and provided an opportunity for people to dance, sing, pray and heal.
