The 1992 movie White Men Can't Jump is about two basketball hustlers, Billy Hoyle (Woody Harrelson) and Sidney Deane (Wesley Snipes), who team up to win money on the streets of Los Angeles. Billy is a former college player who takes advantage of people's assumption that he can't play well because he's white. Sidney is a talented but cocky player who Billy beats twice. Sidney sees an opportunity to work with Billy and they become partners in a con game. The movie also stars Rosie Perez and Tyra Ferrell, and was written and directed by Ron Shelton.
