This chair is not only built to hold extra weight, but it’s also wider, providing ample space for comfort. As someone just under 400 pounds, I was pleased to find that I don’t touch the sides and feel completely supported. The dual bungee cord system at each attachment point feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity. However, the natural wood armrests are a concern, as they aren’t suited for direct sunlight or heavy rain, which could lead to damage over time. I’d recommend opting for a model with plastic arms if you expect exposure to the elements. The chair includes an adjustable pillow and a convenient side table that’s easy to attach and remove. Overall, this chair offers great comfort and support, perfect for those needing a bit more room and strength.
