Is GGG Overthinking Path of Exile 2? - Feedback

I know this video is going to be super controversial, but I feel like it needed to be said. Path of Exile 2 is BRILLIANT and I am having a fantastic time, but something about it just feels off. It almost seems like GGG is overthinking parts of PoE 2 when they could keep things simpler and let the players figure out the complexity. By creating hyper-specific mechanics linked to PoE 2 Ascendancies, it's making it feel more limited than having interesting, but clear mechanics, like we have in PoE 1
