This latest stimulus proposal calls for a $1,400 stimulus payment. But the big news is that the payment would include adult children that are claimed as dependents!

“The big change in this proposal a dependent isn't just a kid under the age of 17. Your 20-something could count if they’re your dependent, they're still in college, you’ll get that $1,400 check, that's big,” said Jill Schlesinger, CBS News Business Analyst.

The thresholds for the stimulus payments could change or be the same as the first two stimulus payments. The first two payments had a threshold for single up to $75,000 and married couples up to $150,000. But the phased-out numbers were different. The first round of stimulus payments had phase-out numbers of singles for $99,000 and married of $199,000 and the second stimulus had lower phase-outs of singles $87,000 and married $174,000.

Stimulus #3 checks could be coming to your bank account or mailbox by mid-to late-march. A vote is expected for the last week of February and the full passage by the first week of March. https://www.wfmynews2.com/article/new...
