VConnect Foundation has put together The Mainstream Guide for children with hearing loss that enables teachers, professionals and parents to help the children with hearing loss to smoothly transition into mainstream schooling. This Guide is a culmination of our research and our experience both as professionals and as parents of children with hearing loss.

The Mainstream Guide provides a holistic view and covers aspects related to hearing, hearing loss and its impact on the child, preparing and equipping them for mainstreaming along with strategies, guidelines and tips for mainstream teachers.

VConnect Foundation is a support group for parents of children who have hearing loss. These children use either hearing aids or cochlear implant/s. Founded in February 2007, it is a self-managed voluntary group of parents, by parents and for the benefit of parents, and is a very interactive group.
