The video footage featured in this film is made with Mastcam images from Curiosity Rover on Sol 2287 compiled into a photomosaic with an extended sky. Image data was denoised, repaired, stitched, graded, rescaled and animated for this film. A 3D model of Curiosity rover is composited to the scene, the correct scale of which was derived from a HiRISE topographic model of the same location.
