Then we spend time in the $10 town of Gulgong - a place that transports you back in time where the buildings showcase the essence of the gold rush era. And the culinary delights in this region are not to be missed! We spend a day on an epic tasting journey, indulging in the finest local wines and produce.

Another day trip takes us to Dubbo where we capture the beauty of the majestic African Savannah wildlife and the playful antics of the Meerkats at the Western Plains Zoo. A 'must do' before we left Dubbo is the Old Dubbo Gaol where we get a glimpse into the harsh realities faced by its inmates.
