Dustin Henze and Rene Ragas are the brains behind the Asarualim project. The project name and album title weren't picked randomly or just because they sound cool. Asarualim is a deity from Sumerian mythology who's worshipped as the god of knowledge and science and is seen as the keeper of hidden or secret knowledge. He has the ability to bring light to hidden or darkened places and to move the life that lives there, contributing to knowledge and existence. In this respect, the project name and album title correlate really well and stand out refreshingly from the norm.
Unfortunately, apart from a release in 2019 on Binary Audio Machery, this album is the only one available in physical form. From 2011 to 2015, three albums were released as WAV files on the Speedsound and Binary Audio Machinery labels. Two 12" maxis were released on Insolation / Zoomshot in 2003. Why Asarualim didn't make it onto any compilations... I have no idea.
