Medicine in architecture – where health meets design! | Karolina Miernik & Kamila Stajno | TEDxSANS

The speech discusses the role of architecture in the process of treating patients in hospitals. Architects explain how appropriate design of hospital spaces can optimize costs, take into account technological requirements, increase staff efficiency and reduce patient stress, which leads to shorter hospitalization times. They emphasize the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, flexibility of solutions and taking into account the opinions of future users at every stage of design. Master's studies completed with a diploma at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice in 2015. He is authorized to design and manage works without any restrictions in the field of architecture. Kamila Stajno completed Master's studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Krakow University of Technology in 2012, and has been authorized to design without restrictions in the architectural specialty since 2016.
