Скачать или смотреть Autumn Mystical Japan (Red Leaves of Kyoto, Nara, Koya-san...)

If you ever wonder what is the best time to visit Japan then definitely go for autumn. Even Japanese travel a lot to see the mystical beauty of temples and shrines covered in red colors of autumn leaves. Such an amazing experience. This was also a nostalgia for me, visiting the places I've been before and even hitchhiking and camping again at the same spots.

So since we made the trip to China we thought that being so close to Japan in autumn and not going there would be the most horrific sin ever! Seriously Japan in autumn is just magical, the beautiful red leaves of Japanese maples are something incredible. We've visited some new places and also some that we visited three years ago during our hitchhiking and urban camping trip (not that it was much different this time ^_^) but they looked totally different in fall. I'd say that red leaves fall season is as popular as the sakura cherry blossom season in Japan and even many Japanese plan their trips for this part of the year. Definitely worth it!

We've walked a part of Kumano Kodo path from Nachi Falls to Kumano Hongu Taisha visiting the famous Kawayu Onsen then went to Koya-san (incredibly mysterious when it gets dark), Nara, Kyoto (found new hidden gems Kurama and Jingo-ji) and of course didn't miss Himeji castle and Mount Shosha (yea a special place to me since it's one of the shooting locations for The Last Samurai movie).
