Dyson V11 Torque Drive Review and Tests: What I Like and Don't Like About It - Cordless Vacuum

This is a full review of the Dyson V11 Torque Drive which is currently Dyson's flagship model that also includes the Outsize. It's one of the best options I've tested so far for cleaning carpet.

Even with a clean looking carpet, the V11 was able to pick up dust and sand trapped underneath the strands of carpet.

Even in the middle setting, the V11 is able to clean close to 100% (99.97%) on medium-pile carpet, which is more than the V10 on the max setting. Combine that with the 18-minute run time, this model provides a much better range.

One feature I like is the LCD screen that provides realtime information about how much time is remaining with the charge, and it automatically updates as you toggle through the different power settings.

The dynamic load sensor automatically increases airflow when it detects an increase in resistance as it would on carpets, so there no need to pause and manually move the power setting. It does it automatically.
