Cabinet reshuffle: Josephine Teo to head Smart Nation Initiative, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore

For the first time, two initiatives to drive Singapore's digital transformation will be brought together under the purview of a single minister. Incoming Communications and Information Minister Josephine Teo will take over as Minister-in-charge of the Smart Nation Initiative, and of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. Political analyst Gillian Koh said Mrs Teo's experience in explaining critical manpower policies, such as foreign worker policy, will come in handy in her new role to engage Singaporeans and stakeholders.
