Arizona Rapper Mav Unveils Nostalgic Phoenix Suns Anthem, Celebrating Team, Fans, and Personal Milestone




Phoenix, AZ – November 26, 2024 – Arizona hip hop artist Mav has delivered a rousing new Phoenix Suns anthem, blending the electrifying spirit of the Charles Barkley era with the excitement of today’s team. The track shines a spotlight on Suns stars Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, Grayson Allen, and rookie Ryan Dunn, while saluting fans, coach Mike Budenholzer, and the legendary Al McCoy, whose iconic “Shazam” catchphrase gets a nod.




The beat evokes memories of the Suns’ glory days, and Mav’s lyrics celebrate both past and present. He raps about Durant surpassing Shaquille O’Neal in all-time scoring and chasing Wilt Chamberlain’s record, highlights Booker’s elite shooting skills, and salutes the passionate Suns fans who fill Footprint Center.
