“Without You,” a Skylanders Beyond the Mirror AU animatic of “Francis Forever” by Mitski.
Don’t get it twisted, she is still a horrible person, but even the Technomancer has feelings, and an abundance of self-pity. Mags only recently earned the title of the Technomancer and has already used her power to engage in some not-so-legal schemes that resulted in her expulsion from inventor’s school and cost her closest friend Krankcase his legs. The Technomancer screwed up, not that she would admit that to anyone. Now, the dejected Technomancer prepares to return home to her family and leave behind the life she dreamed of, as well as a certain friend whom she may or may not have had feelings for.
The Beyond the Mirror AU is inspired by the Mirror of Mystery level from Skylanders, meaning that all of the characters you know from Skylanders are on opposite sides; Mags (the Technomancer) is evil and Dr. Krankcase is good.
This upload is incomplete as I intend to make drawings for the entirety of the song, but I started this almost a year ago and I just want something to show for it. Will I complete this project? Who knows! But I hope this version is at least somewhat interesting.
